Gruppo Folklorico Castellano - Lagopesole - Italy
The group has been founded in the 1993, as a reactivation of a previous group, which
have been seen in the 1960 - 1980s. Its goal is to present the customs of local cultures in which both human and natures life cycle has one common denominator: music. The groups rich repetoire brings the viewer into a world where history and local tradition bounded by music and dance takes the viewer back in time if for a little while to the age of Friedrich II. Sharing the passion of song and dance the group promotes its regions traditions and history on both local and world vide festivals i.e. in Hungary, France, Portugal, Germany and Spain. Since the year 1995 the group is also a co host of the " international meeting of cultures" |
Mezocsat Nepiegyuttes Group - Hungary
Mezocsat Nepiegyuttes Group has this year its 60th anniversary. It was
formed at the turn of 1948-1950. It consisted of a large number of
dancers and was the pride of the village. Now Mezocsat Nepiegyuttes
Group consists of young people who study and work. Part of the group
studied dance at the Egressy Benjamin Elementary School. On the 60th
anniversary the group collects informations and photographs from its
founders and also other materials to allow spreading the culture and
showing authentic Hungarian Dance. They are constantly working on new
choreographies and overall aesthetic appearance of the group. They
represent their folklore In many places in the world.

Sagarmatha Nepal Cultural Group - Nepal
Nepal Cultural Group Sagarmatha for many years by a variety of cultural
activities in the country and abroad. He also has extensive experience
in international exchanges, and has friends all over the world. During
numerous trips around the world group participated in the International
folklore festivals in France, Spain, India, Singapore, Taiwan, Belgium,
Malaysia and USA. During his trip trying to transfer knowledge about
their culture and promote their country. The festival will present three
dances: Dhima, Dhimal, Ihumra. Director of the group is Daksh Paudel
Subhas. Sagarmatha Nepal Cultural Group has been running its varieties
of cultural activities within the country as well as all over the world
for decades.It has got experiences in the cultural exchanges with
various international communities. It therefore, has a genuine scope and
ability to promote the national and international cultural exchange
program for the benefit of the country and the people. |
Attica Folklore & Cultural Association 'Polydendri' - Greece
Attica Folklore & Cultural Association 'Polydendri' is a Greek folklore,
music and dance group. It consists of 200 members. The dancers are
amateurs, aged 7 to 50 and we have many groups (from children's to
elderly people's groups). The Cultural Association is Member of the
International Dance Council (CID)-UNESCO and it is represented in folk
dance festivals by a superb traditional dance group, which every year
performs in different places in Greece and abroad. It is a mixed group
of about 30 persons (adults), dancers, which performs excellent Greek
dances of Attica and all the geographical regions of Greece, with the
appropriate traditional costumes. We have also children dance groups, as
well as elderly people dance groups. The Cultural Association is
specialized in presenting the Greek traditional wedding and organizing
seminars concerning the Greek culture. The teacher of the team is Mr
Yiannis Gantzias, who has been educated at the Athens University and has
a high teaching experience in the Greek dances and music. Recently, it
took part at Mesolloggi Aitoloakarnanias, island of Spetses, island of
Salamina, Athens, Varna of Boulgaria (2002), Tenerife-Spain (2003),
Sardegna's (Italy: 2004) Folk Mediterranean Festival, Nice's (France:
2005 )International Folk Festival, Sharm el Sheikh (Egypt: 2006), Porto
(Portugal: 2007), Prague(Czech Republic: 2008), Malaga (Spain: 2008)
International Dance Congress (CID-UNESCO),where received the best
comments.

Zespół Folklorystyczny 'Mali Poligrodzianie' - Poland
Folk Dance Ensemble ‘Mali Poligrodzianie’ was founded in 1985 and has been working with The Poznan University of Technology National Dance Band ‘Poligrodzianie’ since then. Its members are 40 young dancers of age between 6–13.
Their programme apart from national dances, is from Wielkopolska, Szczyrzyc, Żywiec and Silesia regions. Authentic sources, as close to the roots of the Polish flklore as possible, are used while preparing dances and songs. The attempt is to preserve the characteristic behaviour and performance typical of a particular region, as well as the unique set of instruments and costumes.
The ensemble has given numerous concerts, both in Poland and abroad, applauded e. g. in Belgium, Denmark, Canada, Greece, Spain, France, Portugal, South Korea, Italy, Lithuania.
Lively and colourful performances by ‘Mali Poligrodzianie’ are enriched by spontaneity of dancers and talents of solo singers.
